Personal Data Protection

The Global Change Research Institute of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic, p. r. i., with its registered office at Bělidla 986/4a, 603 00 Brno, company ID No.: 866 52 079, registered in the Register of Public Research Institutes, kept by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, acting as the Data Controller under Art. 26 of the Regulation, processes, in the case of completing the questionnaires on this website, pursuant to the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) No. 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter only as the “Regulation”), the following personal data:

  • Name;
  • Surname;
  • E-mail address;
  • Post code;
  • District;
  • Cadastral district;
  • Employer’s name.

The above personal data must be processed to improve, complete and update the content of the website, to process the answers to your query, and to solve a specific problem concerning drought. Such processing is permitted by Article 6 (1) (f) of the Regulation, since it is a legitimate interest of the Data Controller. The personal data will be processed by the Data Controller for an unlimited period of time unless you withdraw your consent.

The processing of the personal data is carried out by the Data Controller, yet personal data may also be processed, on behalf of the Data Controller, by the Company KREATURA s.r.o., company ID No.: 032 62 529, with its registered office at Kroftova 1602/37, Brno, registered in the Companies Register.

Under the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right:

  • To ask the Data Controller for information about how we process your personal data, or request a copy of the personal data;
  • To request the Data Controller to provide an explanation concerning the processing of the personal data;
  • To request the Data Controller to provide access to the data and to have the data modified or updated;
  • To ask the Data Controller to deleted the processed personal data;
  • If you have any doubts as to whether the Data Controller has complied with the personal data processing obligations, you have the right to turn to the Data Controller, the Personal Data Protection Authority or the court.
